Our pub is a small country hotel which was originally built in 1864 and was known as The Cricketers Arms Hotel, It was rebuilt on it's present site in 1875.

We are very much a family hotel. We love that we offer entertainment for the kids while the parents can sit back and relax with a nice cold beer or softdrink.
There is a beautiful open fire place for the colder months that warms our little pub and we also are full air-conditioned for the hotter months.

We also have some unique accomodation in our converted railway carraiges or in our romantic hideaway…the Spa Cabin

Here is a little bit about our town.

Paterson was once a major river port and thriving community, today its a small village that's full of wonderful people and some wonderful little shops. Many of the old building remain including the original Court House which now operates as a Museum-Sundays only.
We also offer a 9 hole golf course which is set in very tranquil surroundings.

The Upper Allyn, Lostock Dam, Chichester Dam and Barrington are a pleasant days outing, as are the Vineyards of Cessnock and Pokolbin, or the beaches of Nelsons Bay.
